Frequently Asked Questions

What areas of personal injury do you practice?

100 percent of our practice is devoted to personal injury litigation. Those areas include:

  • Personal injury

  • Product liability

  • Premises liability

  • Medical malpractice

  • FELA

  • Automobile and trucking accidents

  • Construction accidents

How much is a case worth?

It is worth what the law says it is.

The law recognizes how badly a person is hurt. It addresses what they have lost and may continue to lose and decides who is responsible,

Our job is to leverage every facet of the law in your favor. That's what the other side is doing. You deserve no less.

How much do you charge?

Nothing. If you don't get a dime, neither do we. In fact, we also forego whatever case expenses we accumulated to prepare your case.

If you do win, we get a percentage of what you are awarded based on accepted established practice in the legal community, plus reimbursement of the litigation costs we have expended on your behalf. That means in most cases, we charge the same that almost every other firm would charge. In all cases, we offer a thorough, yet easy to understand, explanation of all costs and fees involved.

Why Marino & Simonetti?

Year after year we receive the absolute highest ratings accorded to any lawyers, anywhere. Renowned international law directory Martindale-Hubbell has awarded Marino & Simonetti its highest AV rating several years running. Peer organizations such as Leading Lawyers Network and Illinois Super Lawyers, who annually poll lawyers to measure performance, professionalism, and results, have consistently named us among their elite. That means other injury lawyers rate us among the best.

After practicing and working with much larger firms, we believe a firm our size does a better job for their clients. Our way of practicing law allows us to know you better and knowing you better allows us to make better decisions on your behalf. At Marino & Simonetti you will work either with Mr. Marino or Mr. Simonetti. You will not be transferred to an attorney you have never met.
