Ask our clients. Ask our fellow lawyers. Ask the rating services. In case after case, we have built a reputation for perseverance, insightful advice, and a passion that drives us to obtain the maximum settlement allowable by law. Here are a few of our more noteworthy examples:

In a construction injury case, a 46-year-old steel worker suffered significant brain injuries in a fall at a construction site. Overcoming challenging issues as to the client's comparative fault, the client was awarded a $3.1 million settlement and waiver of a workers’ compensation lien in excess of $400,000.

In a product liability/automobile injury case, the families of two women obtained a $9 million settlement. The women died when the driver of the passenger van in which they were traveling lost control and struck an oncoming truck.

In a hotly contested construction injury case, our client, a Spanish-speaking construction worker, was rendered a paraplegic following an accident on a Municipal Defendant's property. The Defendant argued that Illinois law immunized it from liability. Despite this contention, a settlement in excess of $4.35 million, as well as waiver the $360,000 workers' compensation lien, was achieved for our client.

In an automobile accident case, $2.3 million was obtained for a woman who was injured by an intoxicated driver.

In another case, a Spanish-speaking woman recovered mortgage life insurance benefits from a major banking corporation. The corporation had previously failed to file her policy application and refused to pay policy proceeds when her husband died.

In a 1998 Wrongful Death Act case, a $1 million settlement was obtained for a family whose 16-year-old daughter died as a result of injuries following an automobile accident,

In a more recent auto case, a settlement of $1.7 million was won for a man injured when struck by another auto while attempting to push his disabled vehicle off a major Chicago expressway

In a medical malpractice case, a negotiated $1 million settlement was awarded to the widow and two young children of a man who died as a result of an untreated infection.

In another medical malpractice case, we achieved a $1 million settlement for the husband and children of a woman who died following abdominal surgery.

The daughter of a 45-year-old woman whose lung cancer went undiagnosed for over two years was secured a $2 million settlement.

A settlement was obtained for a decedent's estate in a death arising at a day care center for the full extent of the insurance coverage. In litigating the matter, we successfully secured the insurance company's liability coverage for the decedent's death even thought the center's insurance policy contained an exclusion for injuries arising from the provision of services.

We helped achieve a $2.5 million dollar settlement in a medical malpractice case for a patient who lost the lower portion of his leg due to a wrongful delay in treatment.

Other recent cases include:

$1.75 million for failure to diagnose thoracic aneurysm.

$1.5 million for failure to diagnose abdominal aortic aneurysm.

$1.35 million for an apartment fire resulting in deaths of mother and child.
